Read-a-Thon Ends March 15

Our Read-a-Thon is underway and we are so proud of our students and families for raising money to support our PTO. It's not too late to give! Please utilize the link sent to your email from 99Pledges to donate and support the purchasing of school supplies, field trips, and assemblies for our students. We appreciate all your support.

Arts Night, Thursday, March 21

We would like to invite you to our first annual Mason Crest Arts Night on Thursday March 21st from 5:30‑7:00PM. Come see your child’s art work and poetry. Experience musical performances by our Kindergarten and 1st grade students. Create art work and poetry with your children. Hear instrument demonstrations by our 4th and 5th graders and meet some of the music teachers from Poe Middle School. We hope you can join us!

Spring Picture Day

Spring Pictures will be taken next Friday, March 22. Students will be taken individual and class photos. Photos may be preordered. A link was sent to parent emails and paper order forms will be sent home in Wednesday folders. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office at 571-226-2600.

Family Engagement Survey

Fairfax County is committed to building strong relatoinships with our families. Parents and caregivers can help by participating in the Family Engagement Survey. The survey will remain open until Friday, March 22. If you would rather complete a paper survey, feel free to stop by the main office. You can access the survey here. 

Immunization Clinics

To help parents/caregivers obtain vaccinations for their children, the Fairfax County Health Department (FCHD) will offer immunization clinics with extended hours:

• Thursday, March 21, 4:30-7:30 p.m., Joseph Willard Health Center.Walk-ins are accepted until 7 p.m.
• Friday, March 22, 1-5:30 p.m., Annandale District Office. Walk-ins are accepted until 5 p.m.

Parents/caregivers should make an appointment but a limited number of walk-ins will be accepted. Please call 703-246-7100 to schedule an appointment. 

Kindergarten Orientation

Our Kindergarten Orientation will be on the morning of April 2 from 8:45 p.m.- 11:00 a.m. Incoming kindergarten students and families will get to experience "A Day in the Life of a Kindergartener" while receiving a tour of Mason Crest. We can't wait to meet our incoming kindergarteners and our newest Mason Crest families.

Donations Needed

As we are wrapping up cold season and heading into allergy season, we are in the need of hte following donations. If you are able to donate any of these items, please drop them by the front office. Thank you!
