March 8 - Family Newsletter

Rolling Valley Families,

It was a four-day week, but we made sure those four days were filled with activities! This week we celebrated Read Across America with a spirit week, book swap, and other fun reading activities! Our kindergartners enjoyed a fun field trip to Baltimore, MD where they went to Port Discovery!

A few reminders as we look forward to next week, there are spring pictures on Thursday and Ballin’ for Buddies at WSHS on Saturday, March, 16. Make sure to read below for more detailed information about both these activities!

Wishing you a great weekend!

Read Across America Week

THANK YOU!!

Our first Book Swap in honor of Read Across America Week was a success! Thanks to the amazing families and teachers in our community, we were able to collect over 1,300 books which allowed every student to not only choose one new-to-them book, but two books! So many of the students were so grateful to be able to choose from such an assortment and got so excited about reading! Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event amazing!
