Principal Message

Dear Terraset Families,

It has been another wonderful week! Thank you for all of your support, especially as we work hard to streamline our kiss and ride process in the mornings. As you know, safety is our top priority, and your help is critical to our success. Here are a few friendly reminders:

  • Please do not park on Ridge Heights Road and walk across the driveway where buses and cars are exiting the property without being crossed by a staff member.
  • Pull all the way forward to the Door 2 area at the top of the hill to drop off your student(s).
  • All students enter the building through Door 2 near the gym, unless there is inclement weather in which we will open lower Door 1 as well.
  • Ensure your child is ready to exit the vehicle prior to drop off.

By partnering together, we can make sure we have a safe and efficient arrival for all of our Tigers!

Warmly,

Katie Aldridge

Principal

Learn About Science, Technology, and Arts Magnet Schools

Three FCPS elementary magnet schools provide programs that enhance learning in science, technology, and performing arts.

If you are interested in sending your student to an elementary magnet school program, consider attending a school-based information night at Hunters Woods Elementary School, Bailey’s Primary Elementary School, or Bailey’s Upper Elementary School

Information nights will provide an opportunity to learn about individual school programs, student eligibility, the lottery process, and transportation.

Registration for the 2024-25 elementary magnet lottery is open through Friday, April 12. Learn more about the schools, their programs, and locations.
