Principal Updates

Dear Families,

You should have received an email this weekend from Fairfax County Public Schools via K12 Insight asking you to complete a Family Engagement Survey. If you do not have email or would like to complete the survey on paper, please reach out to our Family Liaisons, Ana Maxey ajmaxey@fcps.edu or Liz Denman erdenman@fcps.edu and they can support you with this request.

Your feedback is invaluable and we hope to strengthen the partnership between your family and our school by receiving your input. The survey only takes 10-15 minutes to complete.

Thank you,

Mr. Aiello, Ms. Conroy, and Ms. Shin

If you have any questions, reach out to Sonia Reyes, our registrar, at sgreyes@fcps.edu.

Mark your calendars--Our Kindergarten Orientation will be on the morning of April 2 from 8:45 p.m.- 11:00 a.m. Incoming kindergarten students and families will get to experience "A Day in the Life of a Kindergartener" while receiving a tour of Mason Crest. We can't wait to meet our incoming kindergarteners and our newest Mason Crest families.

Read-a-Thon! March 4-March15

In conjunction with our Read Across America Spirit Week, our PTO  launched our Read-a-Thon fundraiser this weekend. If you have an email, you should have received your child's Read-a-Thon link from 99Pledges. The Read-a-Thon will run from March 4-March 15.

Please feel free to share this link to family and friends so they can sponsor your child and support our PTO. We will be using these funds to purchase school supplies for students this Fall and to support school events such as busses for field trips and assemblies. We are looking forward to another successful Read-a-Thon! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the administration or email the PTO at ptomasoncrest@gmail.com.
