Engagement Activity Needs Your Support

Edison PTSA student member Sarah Staresina is working on an engagement activity for her global politics class about the challenges faced by refugees in our community. As part of her project, she would like to bring attention to an online wishlist for the organization, Women for Afghan Women–the Virginia Community Center. This wishlist contains a variety of household items needed by recently arrived refugees as they begin their new life in the U.S.

Please consider donating through their wish list here by copying and pasting the following address into your browser:  https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/252I4NUJZWR3V?ref_=abls_nvfly_yl

Great job Sarah, for bringing attention to this important subject! It’s great seeing student advocacy in action!
