Kilmer MS Newsletter - November 17, 2023

A message from Principal Steven McFarlane

Kilmer Community,

Thanksgiving arrived at Kilmer yesterday with the delivery of almost 4,300 pies as part of our KMS Music Department’s annual fundraiser. The cafeteria was a hub of activity after school as students gathered pies in order to make their deliveries just in time for Thanksgiving. A special thanks to Sharon Bonneau, Kevin Sapp, Robert Katz, and all of the parent volunteers who made possible this important fundraiser to support our incredible music programs.

All students received a copy of their first quarter report card today during 7th period and should bring it home to share with their parents and guardians. Additionally, report cards are now visible in SIS StudentVue and ParentVue.

The next month is packed with events, and it reminds me of why Kilmer is such a great community. Whether it’s a concert from our bands, orchestras, or choirs, a school assembly, or Spirit Week, there are many opportunities for our community to come together, enjoy each other’s company, and celebrate the hard work of our students and staff. On behalf of the Kilmer staff, I hope that everyone has a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving with friends and family. Our next newsletter will arrive in your inbox in two weeks on Friday, December 1. As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Steven McFarlane

Principal
