Hello, Families!

November is a busy month! The PTA is hosting Book Fair this week and Family Science Night the Thursday after Thanksgiving.  Please consider volunteering at one or both events. 

School events are occurring every day this week, and our PTA General Meeting is tomorrow evening.  Please scroll down to view the day by day plan.

Join Us for Book Fair November 13-17th! Parents will be able to attend the Book Fair at any time during open hours. 

Open hours include: 

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 3:30 – 8:00 pm
  • Open Houses on Thurs and Fri - more info below!

Tuesday (today): Original Works Orders Due

Original Works orders are due today! 

The online gallery is LIVE for the last day -today- for ordering! This is the perfect opportunity to order custom gifts & keepsakes with your child's artwork for the holidays or special occasions while also supporting our school!

A brochure with detailed ordering instructions went home with students.  Contact originalworks@wolftrappta.org with questions.

 


Wednesday: PTA Meeting

PTA General Assembly Meeting

PTA General Meeting is tomorrow (Wednesday, 11/15) at 7:00 pm in the cafeteria. 

Ms. Diane Cooper-Gould will be joining us for a presentation on Special Education and community resources available to parents. Ms. Cooper Gould is a Special Education Advocate and Founder and Owner of DCG Education Advocacy, LLC. She is also a past president and Co-Founder of Fairfax County SEPTA (Special Education PTA).

We know our entire parent community will benefit from hearing more about the resources available to families navigating the special needs offerings and hope some great connections will be made tomorrow night! As has become our custom for evening PTA meetings, please join us afterwards for some fun social time! Location to be announced at the meeting. 

We will also announce the yearbook cover winner!

Also this Friday, iCode is hosting a Parent's night out/Game night for kids- and donating 100% back to us!

November 17th, 6-9 pm. $30/child. Pizza is included. More details below.

Family Science Night Volunteer Call!

Wolftrap ES Family Science Night

Family Science Night will be held on Thurs., November 30 in partnership with the Children’s Science Center Lab.

At least 4 more volunteers (16 and older) are needed from 5:15-7:45p.m. to set up, assist students with activities, and clean up. Help bring science to life by volunteering for this event! Sign up to help us host a Family Science Night!
