Library
Calling all 4th, 5th, and 6th grade parent volunteers!
The library would love to have parent volunteers this year! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, below are the expectations for your role. Please feel free to email Mrs. Hardin if you have any questions.
A volunteer in the Wolftrap Library may:
- Sort and shelve books on the “Ready to be Shelved” cart during the read aloud/lesson
- Scan books for checkout, after receiving the training.
- Read with students during checkout.
- Help students with stations during checkout.
- Encourage students to find books they are passionate about- get them excited to read!
- Support students in their choice of book selection. Volunteers may not tell students what they cannot check out. The school library is a free choice environment.
**Please do not sign up for every week. Many parents want to volunteer and we want to make room for everyone! Thank you!
