Student Council Association
The Liberty Middle School Student Council Association (SCA) is designed to develop personal leadership skills through committee work, presentations, independent assignments, service projects, and interaction with students, teachers, and administrators. It fosters in students a better understanding of themselves and their capacity for leadership, and prepares students to assume leadership roles in their school and community.
The Goal of SCA:
The goal of the SCA is to empower students to achieve their ultimate leadership potential while making the Liberty Middle School community a better place to learn, work, live, and enjoy life. We strive to make a positive impact through our commitment to integrity, diversity, and principled service.
This requires:
- A reasonable time commitment
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Involvement in school and community activities
- A readiness to cooperate with others to achieve a common vision
- A focus on learning about leadership through service.
How to join?
- Students complete the Google Form located in the SCA folder within the “All Students Course” in Schoology. It MUST BE SUBMITTED BY NOV. 3

CROSS COUNTRY SEASON ENDS WITH CELEBRATIONS!
Liberty's inaugural middle school sport team ended it's season on Saturday, October 28th at Irving Middle School after hosting a home meet on Saturday, October 21st.
Although it was a short season, the team saw great bench marks and improvements throughout. We are so very proud of each of our Liberty Lions for the efforts they put forth, the determination, and the perseverance they showed and their tremendous team support and sportsmanship. Lions, you made us so proud!!!
We are so grateful for our families, our amazing coaches/coordinators, Taren Suraci and Varrie Smart, and our school community of staff and students for their support. Extra kudos to Jeff Fanale, CVHS Cross Country Coach and Liberty PE teacher, for his never-ending support and guidance.
GO LIONS!!
Next up for Middle School Sports - Track in the Spring. More info on that coming soon.
