Greeting Saxons,

Saxon Country is abuzz with the success! Our students continue to amaze in a myriad of ways. Let the celebrations begin!

A huge shoutout to Saxon Stage on an outstanding presentation of Alice in Wonderland. Orchestra and Choir students had great performances this week. Job well done, Saxon Performing Arts!

Langley's Model United Nations team competed in McLean High School’s Model United Nations competition September 29-30^th,  in the first competition of this school year. Facing tough competition from other teams, including Chantilly High School & Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology,  Langley Model UN won the BEST LARGE TEAM DELEGATION award (equivalent to FIRST PLACE). In addition, MOST of our students won individual awards, including SEVEN  first place titles. Best Delegation is equivalent to first place, Outstanding Delegation is equivalent to second place, Honorable Delegation is equivalent to third place, and Verbal Commendation is equivalent to fourth place. 

The Quiz Bowl team earned first place at the National Academic Quiz Tournament at Centennial High School.

Congrats Langley Saxon Athletics! During the 2022-2023 school year Langley was 1 of only 2 FCPS High Schools to earn the VHSL Stay in the Game Award. To earn this award your school must have no player ejections or sportsmanship violations in any sport, at any level during the entire school year. Well done Saxons!
