Fall into PTA...
Our second PTA meeting of the year will be next week on Wed., Oct. 18th at 9:00am in the cafeteria. Our official business will include approving the 2022-2023 Financial Review. We will also hear reports from our Committees and an update from Dr. Grove. PTA meetings are often the first place new information is shared, so please come if you can! Pizza Bingo is almost here! It's THIS THURSDAY from 5-7pm on the field behind the school!
Don't forget to order your pizza, bundtlets and water here. The deadline to preorder is this Wednesday evening. Food will be only be available in limited quantities the night of the event, so preorder now!
Also, don't forget to bring cash for the raffle! You can win great prizes, including fuzzy Wolftrap "Wolfie" slippers!

Reminder that there is still time for 3rd-6th Graders to submit original artwork for this year’s Yearbook Cover Contest. The design must include:
- This year’s theme: Positivity Pack
- School name: Wolftrap Elementary
- School year: 2023-2024
Entries are due by October 20th. Use an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper oriented VERTICALLY. Any art medium may be used (crayons, paint, pastels, markers, etc.). NO clip art, internet files, or copied work are allowed. Be sure to fill all the space with COLOR! Then submit your art to the front office with your name, teacher, and grade on the back. Wolftrap Teachers and Staff will judge the entries. All entries appear in the Yearbook and the winner receives a free yearbook.

The PTA Cultural Arts Committee is excited to welcome Andrés and Christina, the Latin Grammy-winning music duo 123 Andrés, to perform at Wolftrap on Friday, October 20. Their catchy songs and lively concerts get kids dancing and learning, in Spanish and English. To learn more about 123 Andres, see here.
Every PTA program and event is possible because dedicated parents step up to run them. In September (and over the summer), these parents have been working hard:
After School Activities: Thank you Ying Li and Zeina Shreif for working with our vendors, school administration, and PTA board to select wonderful enrichment classes for our students and run a smooth registration process! Classes start this week and we thank you for your dedication!!
Audit Committee: This group meets 3-4 times per year and is led by the wonderful Mandy Ryan! Thank you Audit Committee for making sure our books are in order and we are in full compliance. We appreciate you!
Welcome Committee: This committee ran three wonderful playdates over the summer for our incoming kindergarten and 1st grade families and helped organize 2 welcome events for new families at the beginning of the school year. Thank you to Linda Pugel and your amazing team for welcoming our new families!
