Greetings Saxons,
It’s been a while since I shared the happenings of Saxon Country, but I’m back! While I may have been quiet, our students surely have provided much to share. Let’s get to it!
VHSL Announces 2022-23 Spring Sportsmanship Honor Roll- Only 4 FCPS schools made this list and we are one of them!! No sportsmanship violations, no ejections!!
Congratulations, Langley spring sports teams for earning this distinction. Thanks for representing our school community so well!
Thanks to all of the club members who participated in this year’s Club Day! The event provided a great way for all students to get to know more about the numerous clubs available and how they can get involved!
Next week is homecoming. Thanks to our leadership who helped us get pumped with today’s Pride Assembly!
Homecoming week is next week! We will celebrate with the following spirit days!
Monday- Adam Sandler Day (Dress like Adam Sandler)
Tuesday- Barbenheimer (Dress Like Barbie or Oppenheimer characters)
Wednesday- Anything But a Backpack (No backpacks to carry supplies)
Thursday- Jersey v Jersey Shore
Friday- Rodeo- (Wear your homecoming shirt)
Also, the homecoming dance will be held next Saturday. If your student is planning to attend, please make sure they purchase a ticket. They will be sold next week during all lunches. The cost is $20, cash only.
No tickets will be sold at the door.
