It’s Football Season!

Thank you for those of you supporting South Lakes Seahawks and Oakton Cougars football teams.

Parents, please remember that: All elementary and middle school students need to be accompanied & supervised by an adult while at the game. High school students who get dropped off must plan to have their rides waiting for them by 9:30 PM.

Thanks for your support!

Book Fair

Every fall the PTO hosts a Scholastic Book Fair, and a little renovation dust won't stop us! Plan to join us at Crossfield on Friday, Sept. 22 from 6-8 p.m. for family shopping night followed by popsicles on the playground. The Book Fair will also be open Tuesday-Friday the following week, so we need LOTS of volunteers. Sign up today!

CROSSFIELD FUN RUN will be October 26th

SAVE THE DATE & GET EXCITED!

Do you have a business or know a company that would like to support our school?  This is the last week to become a FUN RUN SPONSOR.  Local businesses can support the event to help cover costs and receive marketing benefits.

The CROSSFIELD FUN RUN is organized and run by the PTO and we’re looking for more volunteers!  Consider joining the FUN RUN COMMITTEE to help this amazing event that raises funds for our students, teachers and school.

If you’re interested in volunteering or learning more, please contact Robyn Bywater at robynbywater@gmail.com and Mindy Scardamalia at mindy.scardamalia@crossfieldpto.org.  Let’s make this year’s FUN RUN the best one yet!

2023 Student Rights and Responsibilities

FCPS’ Student Rights and Responsibilities document (SR&R) explains expectations for student behavior and adult responses to enhance school safety and to create a fair, equitable, and supportive school environment. In late June, the School Board approved changes to the SR&R for the 2023-24 school year. Updates include a revision of dress code expectations, bystander expectations for students witnessing harmful or unsafe behaviors, bullying, and substance abuse responses. Read Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid’s letter to families regarding the SR&R

We need your consent!

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) uses a variety of resources to support student learning. Some of the digital resources your child may use this year require parental consent. By completing the digital form linked on our website, you provide permission for your child to use the FCPS-approved online tools listed as part of an instructional program. Need technical help completing the consent form? This page has been designed to help you. Thank you for supporting our instructional programs at Crossfield!

Virginia Growth Assessment (VGA)
