Arrival and Dismissal Reminders

Please do not enter or park on the bus loop during arrival and dismissal. It blocks the entrance for the buses, and really makes passage unsafe for students and families walking to school. All student dropped off in a vehicle should go through Kiss and Ride. 

Do not park on the Bike lane on Harrison Lane to pick up your children. You could be fined by law enforcement. 

Do not drop off students at school early. School doors open at 8:45 am. There is no staff on duty available until 8:45 am. We will be monitoring which students are left at school without supervision.

Recordatorios  para la hora de Llegada y Salida

Por favor, no entre ni estacione en el circuito del autobús durante la llegada y salida. Esto bloquea la entrada de los autobuses y realmente hace las cosas inseguras para los estudiantes y las familias que caminan a la escuela.

No estacionen en el carril de bibicleta. Pueden recibir una multa o ticket.

Across Virginia, students will be taking Standards of Learning (SOL) tests this spring. Below are the dates that SOL testing will be taking place at Groveton ES. If you have questions regarding SOL testing please contact the school test coordinators Mr. Latham or Ms. Casablanca.
