Dear Farhill Families:
WOW! Our Cultural Heritage Night was out of this world! A sincere thank you to our generous community for providing the delectable dishes, lavish cultural demonstrations, and for encouraging your students to participate in the fashion show. Thank you to Cooper Sved and Chloe Yazdani, our Fairhill Teachers, for putting the event together and of course, we are grateful to our PTA for partnering with us. Our hearts are full after learning so much about our remarkable students and their families, and building stronger connections with all of you.
We have a few fun events coming up that we hope you can attend. Tomorrow is the Falls Church Pyramid Art Show from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. There will be Fairhill students' art represented. Please see below for more details. Also, please save the dates for the following: Our PTA is hosting a Movie Day on March 26th. See below for more details. We are also excited to announce that we are bringing back Parent Coffee and will host our first coffee on March 31st at 9:30 AM at Fairhill. More information coming in future weeks.

Falls Church Pyramid Art Show
The Falls Church Pyramid Art show is coming up on Wednesday, March 15. The show will feature art created by select students in our pyramid, including many artists from Fairhill. There will be a reception at Falls Church High School from 5:30-7:30pm. We hope you can join us in celebrating our awesome visual arts program!

Rising Kindergarten Registration/Orientation
Looking to register your kindergarten student at Fairhill ES for 2023-24? Will they turn five years old on or before September 30, 2023?
Save the date:
We will be hosting an in person Kindergarten Orientation on Thursday April 13th, from 3 PM to 4PM. There will also be an FCPS bus to familiarize upcoming students with a school bus! They will take a "field trip" around our bus loop!

Family Movie Night is Coming!
The PTA is excited to announce Family Movie Night at Cinema Arts Theatres (Fair City Mall) on March 26 at 4:00 pm. Families will have the choice between watching Sing 2 and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Tickets will be $10 per person, which includes admission, popcorn and a drink. Tickets can be purchased here. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event. Click here to see the flyer.

FCHS Annual Jaguar 5K
Falls Church HS will have our 18th Annual Jaguar 5k on Saturday, April 22nd. We would love to have our feeder schools and community join us for a great event!
Congratulations to Pine Spring for winning the feeder school with the most participants last year! The plaque will be presented on stage at the awards ceremony. Who will win bragging rights this year??!!
