Principals' Message

Dear Freedom Hill Families,

The Readathon begins! We had a blast welcoming guest author Shannon Earle, the author of The Penguin of Ilha Grande, who spoke to all of our students for our kickoff. A huge round of thanks to Melissa Rossman for arranging this fabulous opportunity for our students. You can see some photos of the event below. Thank you for everyone who has helped to set our students up for success in the Readathon.

Victor O'Neill Studios will be taking Spring Pictures this Thursday, March 9, 2023.  Individual and whole-class pictures will be taken. We will send a link through email when pictures are available to preview and purchase online, approximately two weeks after picture day.  There is no make-up day for Spring Pictures.

Looking forward to another great week with our fabulous students and staff!

Lost and Found

lf

Last week's weather makes us think that spring is right around the corner. These are also the days when our Lost and Found explodes.  Please make sure your child’s name is on all articles of clothing that they could take off (as well as water bottles, lunch boxes, etc.).  You are also welcome to check in at the office and take a peek in the Lost and Found.

These tests will be conducted during the morning of the dates listed in the table above. It is important that your child attend school on the dates designated for them to test.  Please ensure your child gets plenty of rest the night prior. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Kopacz, our school testing coordinator.

Front Office Reminder

When you are picking up your child early from school for an appointment, please let the teacher and the office know ahead of time, via email if possible.  It happens often that your child is away from the homeroom classroom, on the playground, or in the middle of testing when you arrive for pick-up and is not prepared with their belongings to leave.
