1. A Note from Dr. Goodloe
Dear Charger Community,
My first few days serving as the proud principal of Chantilly High School have been filled with positive interactions with so many students, staff, and families. I am very grateful for the many smiles, hellos and notes that I have received. It has been a pleasure to visit classrooms, chat with students, and celebrate successes both at school and in the community. Our interactions over the last two days have reinforced what I already knew – Chantilly is truly a special place to learn and work. Thank you for the warm welcome.
I hope to see many of you at Cultural Night on Wednesday, March 8th!
Please reach out to me with your feedback, questions and input. The best way to reach me is by email. I look forward to connecting with you.
Sincerely,
Amy T. Goodloe, Ed.D.

The PTSA is collecting gift cards and decorative-themed baskets to present to our well-deserving staff members.
The more prizes we collect, the more staff we can honor. Creativity is encouraged! There are approximately 400 staff at Chantilly High School. Let's show them we care!
Please drop off donation(s) at the front office by Friday, 4/21. If you have questions contact jen.alvarez@gmail.com
Here is the SignUpGenius to donate.

Chantilly HS has been selected for the 2023 First Amendment Press Freedom Award. This award recognizes private and public high schools that actively support, teach and protect First Amendment rights and responsibilities of students and teachers, with an emphasis on student-run media where students make all final decisions of content. Congratulations to our journalism students.
5. Recent Student Successes
This is the next installment for the school year of what has become a weekly segment aimed at recognizing students for demonstrating recent improvement or achievement in academics, behavior or citizenship. At the end of each recognition, you will see the name of the nominating teacher or staff member. On a rotating basis, departments will nominate students. I meet with recognized students each week to congratulate them in person.
