2. Spring Tryouts are Monday February 20th
Are you ready? In order to tryout and participate in a High School sport you must have a valid VHSL Physical, as well as Rschool registration complete. You can register at https://chantilly-ar.rschooltoday.com/ and can turn in your completed physical to Ms. Bishop or the Activities office. If you have not done these by Friday you will need to come see Ms. Bishop in the Athletic Training Room on Monday to get a pass to tryout. Good Luck and if you have questions please email Ms. Bishop at kabishop@fpcs.edu.
3. Low-Cost Internet for Free and Reduced-Price Eligible Students
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a new Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program to lower internet costs for families with children who have been eligible for free or reduced-price meals within the last 12 months. A qualifying household will receive $30 per month toward internet services and a one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet. Families can check their eligibility and register at AffordableConnectivity.gov or by calling 877-384-2575.
4. Weekend Grab Bag
Please Support Chantilly High School's Weekend Grab Bag Using Our Amazon Wish List
An Amazon Wish List for CHS's Weekend Grab Bag has been created for the needs of some of our students. The program provides non-perishable items and a few other items for students who are identified as experiencing food insecurity. We partner with Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM.) They provide perishable food items and Chantilly provides non-perishable items. Please use the following link Weekend Grab Bag to access the Wish List. You can also drop off donations at Chantilly High School Attn: Dana Condemi. Please use the wish list as a buying guide. You can also share the Wish List link on your social media accounts. Thank you for your support! Questions or would like to assist with this valuable program? Contact Mary Beth at mwalmsley@mpu-1.com.

7. Recent Student Successes
This is the next installment for the school year of what has become a weekly segment aimed at recognizing students for demonstrating recent improvement or achievement in academics, behavior or citizenship. At the end of each recognition, you will see the name of the nominating teacher or staff member. On a rotating basis, departments will nominate students. I meet with recognized students each week to congratulate them in person.
