A Reminder about Lanyards

A reminder that students traveling to Fairfax Academy from other schools are required to wear their lanyards when arriving to and leaving from Fairfax Academy. See Ms. Tarvid in E119 for a temporary pass or to obtain a replacement lanyard (cost: $5).

From Your Academy Admin

Fairfax Academy Community,

Today marks the second semester of the year! We have so many incredible events planned for the spring including our annual winter Academy Musical “Legally Blonde,” our Open House and Dance Benefit Concert. Check out details below.

We also know this is an exciting time for our seniors as college acceptances start coming in. Please don’t forget to stop by the Academy office and share the news with us! We love to celebrate with our students.

Please continue to encourage your students to attend their Academy class regularly and take advantage of seeing what their peers are up to at our various events. A friendly reminder that we need a phone call in addition to base schools for any day a student needs to miss. As college visits and testing becoming a priority in the spring, please fill out a pre-arranged absence form for any days you know your student will be out. The form can be found here, and also in all classrooms and the Academy office. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our office!

Warmly,
Mrs. Cook

Program Highlight: Dance

Dance Studio DecorThe Dance Program at Fairfax Academy is in-depth instruction designed to explore all dance styles, helping dancers find their artistic voice and providing them with the tools needed to pursue a dance-related career after high school. We offer Dance 1 through 4, Broadway Dance, and Hip Hop. These skills develop characteristics such as strength, discipline, flexibility, teamwork, and individual growth, enabling students to communicate their thoughts, ideas, and emotions through the performing arts, preparing them for success in any career path.
