Register today for Therapeutic Arts, Science, and Growth Mindset!

This new after school class combines the disciplines of art and science to encourage creativity, confidence, and motivation -- and promote stress release. Designed for children ages 6-12, this program has a free-flowing approach that allows children the flexibility to enjoy the process rather than focusing on the end product.

Themes for this class include gratitude, self-care, self-love, positivity rocks, and mystery science! Kids will learn the tools to help manage and release stress.

The workshops are theme-focused allowing participants to focus on the present moment, encouraging mindfulness. Most of all, each class is designed to nurture ideas of creativity, imagination and fun!

Two scholarships are available for this class! Contact our Family Liaisons Jackson Moscoso jamoscoso@fcps.edu or Paulina Hidalgo pchidalgo@fcps.edu for more information.

When: Wednesdays, Feb 1 – March 1, 4:15 -6:00 p.m.

Where: Dranesville Elementary School

Dranesville’s spring fundraiser will be a Run-a-Thon kicking off March 23! We are looking for businesses to help sponsor this event. The donations will support purchases of prizes, water, fruit, and other supplies needed to run the fundraiser. If you or your business is able to help, please contact Katie Weatherton at kweatherton@gmail.com or Brianne Culbreath at brianne.culbreath@gmail.com.

The PTA will use the money raised to support school activities and create a STEAM lab at Dranesville Elementary School.
