CVHS Performing Arts Spotlight

Students in the Performing Arts Dept. are representing C’ville proudly!  The Marching Band earned straight Superior ratings at Marching Band Assessment.  Band students are hard at work preparing for All-District auditions in January.  Theatre brought down the house in their first performance of the year under Patrick McGee, the new Theatre Director.  Orchestra represented C’ville with four (4) students making All-Regionals and eight (8) making All-Districts.  Our All-Regional students are eligible to audition for All-VA in the spring.   Two (2) of our Choir students sang in Richmond, VA, as part of the Honors Choir in November and twenty-one (21) will sing in the All-District Chorus!  While the list of CVHS artists with extraordinary achievements is ever growing, we know what extraordinary strides all of our students make every day in our programs and encourage you to see their hard work pay off in the form of exquisite performances.
