#GreatMindsAtWork

A big thank you to FCPS facilities for working over the holiday break to upgrade and update our school blacktops. While KPES staff is hard at work designing outdoor sensory paths, our students have used this space to share their love for Kings Park ES and the feeling is mutual! We are looking forward to uninterrupted time together until Winter Break begins on December 17th.

Fall Family Math Rich Task Challenge

Every fall we notice many changes in our environment – the weather, our clothing, activities.

The Kings Park and Kings Glen teachers challenge you and your family and friends to create a pattern that highlights some of these changes!   Below you will find some examples of how you might create a pattern that represents the fall.

Be creative and stretch your brain as you create your fall pattern! Please send your fall pattern in to your classroom teacher by Friday, Dec. 2nd.  We will be showcasing the results via KPOV and within our building.
