Turkey

#GreatMindsAtWork

As Thanksgiving approaches we want to take a moment share how grateful we are at KPES. Our students, staff, families and greater community come together. We are wishing all of the KP Lions and their families a safe, healthy and restful Thanksgiving Break.

As Thanksgiving approaches  our first grade students in Mrs. Berry's class explored shapes and counting while creating turkeys. Each turkey was unique and the creative.

Family Engagement Session, Monday, Nov 28th

They can be sent to school in an envelope marked Attention: Counseling Office.

Fall Family Math Rich Task Challenge

Every fall we notice many changes in our environment – the weather, our clothing, activities.

The Kings Park and Kings Glen teachers challenge you and your family and friends to create a pattern that highlights some of these changes!   Below you will find some examples of how you might create a pattern that represents the fall.

Be creative and stretch your brain as you create your fall pattern! Please send your fall pattern in to your classroom teacher by Friday, Dec. 2nd.  We will be showcasing the results via KPOV and within our building.
