Nominations Close Tomorrow- FCPS's Outstanding Employee Awards!

To submit a nomination for a Sunrise Valley Outstanding employee in one of the categories below, please click on the appropriate nomination link.

You may nominate more than one employee, or employees, across multiple categories. All that is required for a preliminary nomination is a brief statement. Additional information regarding each of these awards, as well as the criteria and considerations, are included within each link.

Outstanding Teacher – a teacher or librarian with 3 or more years of experience

Outstanding New Teacher - a teacher or librarian with less than 3 years of experience

Outstanding Leader – an Assistant principal

Outstanding Professional Employee- these positions could include School-Based Technology Specialists, Technology Support Specialist, Instructional Coach, Psychologist, Social Worker, School Counselor

Outstanding Operational Employee – these positions could include administrative and office assistants, custodial staff, food service staff, Instructional Assistants, Public Health Assistants, Public Health Training Assistants

Note: The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, November 18, 2022.

National Family Engagement Month

National Family Engagement Month reminds us that families are children's first and most important teachers, advocates, and nurturers. Strong parental and family support is vital to the well-being and success of students. FCPS has many resources for families designed to increase engagement and partnerships with families while fostering academic success and social-emotional growth.
