We are excited for the opportunity to recognize the outstanding employees who make Liberty Middle School such a special place. Liberty Middle Scholastic Book Fair

Get ready! This year's Book Fair is going to be epic! We've turned up the volume with more fun, more choices and more excitement, so kids will arrive curious and leave bolder, prouder, and stronger than ever before. Here's what you need to know about our upcoming fair:

  • Every dollar you spend will benefit our school directly
  • You can sign up for Book Fair eWallet, a convenient digital payment account, so your child can shop the Fair cash-free. Grandparents, friends, and others can contribute to the eWallet to help build your home library.
  • We’re taking precautions to host a safe Fair at our school, focusing on preventive measures.

IEP Palooza and Community Resource Fair!

Fairfax County SEPTA and Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) are excited to invite parents, older students, FCPS staff, and others to two free special events at Annandale High School on Saturday, December 3. IEP Palooza will educate attendees about special education by presenting a simulated Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting. Guests can also attend breakout sessions about different components of an IEP. A Community Resource Fair will happen at the same time, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about valuable community programs and resources related to Medicaid Waivers, disability services, respite care, health care, case management, and adjustment for newcomers.  CE credits are available for FCPS Staff. Holiday Assistance

We are so blessed in having people in our school area to help with holiday assistance for our families who have a need for help during the holidays.  If you would like to donate a $25 gift card for Walmart or Target, we would greatly appreciate it.  Please send it to our main school office by November 28, 2022. Would you like to help students and families in our community? Liberty Middle School is trying to restock its resource center with food and clothing items to help families in need.  If you are able to help us with this, please review the list below, and click the button to sign up.  Your assistance can make a huge difference in the lives of others. 

All donations may be dropped off at the Liberty Middle School main office on November 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, or 29th.

Free and Reduced-Price Meals: 

Learn more about the criteria and process to apply for free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch.

If you have children eligible for the federal Free and Reduced-Price Meals program, they may also be eligible to participate in other Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) fee-based programs without paying a fee or by paying a reduced fee (e.g classes with a student fee).

The free and reduced-price meals application also includes a section where you provide consent to share information allowing FCPS staff (School Principal, school counselors and other FCPS program staff) to share information about your children's meal eligibility status.

Many of you probably know that we have a food and clothing pantry at Liberty MS.  We use this area for numerous different needs for families and students.  If you would like to donate, the items needed are below.
