2nd annual Veterans Day Event

Friday, November 11th 1-3 pm

Veteran's Day Event 11/11

As a reminder, Friday, November 11, is a student holiday/school planning day for the Veterans Day holiday. Please check with your schools to learn when they are celebrating the holiday. Veterans Day provides a great reason to pause, reflect, and recognize the extraordinary sacrifices our Veterans and their families have made on our behalf, and we thank them for their service. Learn more about the history of Veterans Day at va.gov. There are many local events and ways to honor our veterans.

  • This is not a drop off event. Students must be associated with an attending adult.
    • Parent volunteers are needed to assist with check in, setup, and cleanup. Please sign up.
  • Schedule for the day:
    • All branches will be honored
    • The Air Force band will play music from 1:00-1:30.
    • We will be writing cards to veterans and donating them to Operation Gratitude which specializes in delivering cards and letters to current serving soldiers as well as other veterans.

Picture Retakes

Picture retakes will be held on November 17th during your student's lunchtime.

SIS WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORTS

All parents/guardians of Middle School students who have registered for a SIS ParentVUE Account and have a primary email address recorded in SIS ParentVUE can receive Weekly Progress Reports via email. This report provides a summary of your student(s)’ current quarter grade - which is also their grade for the year since Cooper course all have a rolling gradebook. To activate the Weekly Progress Reports via email, login to your SIS ParentVUE Account and first verify that you have a primary email address within the system. It is listed under the “My Account” tab. If it is blank, enter the email address where you would like to receive the progress reports and click on update account. Once confirmed, parents/guardians are able to activate and select their preferences for receiving these reports within the SIS ParentVUE “My Account” tab.

Weekly progress reports for all of your Middle and High School students will be included in one email. For questions about a specific progress report or grade you can login into your SIS ParentVUE Account to find detailed grade book information. Additionally, your student’s teacher is always the best resource to answer any grade book questions that you may have. Weekly Progress Report Parent Quick Reference Guide

Water Bottles

Students are encouraged to use a refillable water bottle at school.  There are water-filling stations in our addition and in the cafeteria.  We ask that all water bottles have sealed lids.  Athletic water bottles with spray tops (water bottles that can be squeezed) should not be brought to school.
