Educate Fairfax Awards Edison HS and Edison Academy

Kelly Abbott of the Career and Tech Ed (CTE) Department and FBLA received an Educate Fairfax grant in the amount of $1,188 for an Edison HS Graphic Button and Magnet School-Based Enterprise. Business students will create a button-making school enterprise that will develop students’ marketing, design, communication, and collaboration skills through designing, making, and selling buttons and magnets to individuals and school organizations.

Grants

Joe Wolfe and Edison Academy also received an Educate Fairfax grant in the amount of $1,200 for an E-bike Design and Build.  Electrical Construction and Engineering students will explore what goes into designing and building an Electric (E-bike) and what is needed to have it used for private and possibly commercial use.

PTSA Updates

PTSA 'No Fuss' Fall Fundraiser

We are excited to announce the launch of our "No Fuss" Fall Fundraiser. That's right, there's no fuss!! We're not asking you to sell candy or buy wrapping paper, we're just asking for you to donate. After two years of Covid, and the PTSA not doing a lot of fundraising, we really need to replenish our funds. These funds are needed to help provide the programs the PTSA offers the whole school community. So, please consider donating now. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Please follow this link to our fundraiser: https://app.memberhub.gives/edisonhsptsa
