Impact Aid:

Impact Aid forms have been sent home from your student's Advisory block. Please make sure the form gets returned to school by November 14.

Nominations are now open for Outstanding Employee Awards!

We are excited for the opportunity to recognize the outstanding employees who make Liberty Middle School such a special place. Please see the attached flyer for more information about the Outstanding Employee Awards categories and criteria. Nominations will be accepted through close of business on Friday, November 18, and you can submit a nomination for a Liberty Middle School Outstanding Employee via the Google form found at this link: https://bit.ly/LMSOutstandingEmployee.

Call for Liberty Middle

Parent Volunteers!

We need 8th grade parents to serve as chaperones for the upcoming Finance Park Field Trip.

Dates: 11/9, 11/10, 11/14, 11/15

Duties: Supervise a small group through the Finance simulation.

Please contact your student’s Civics teacher to participate!

Calling all student artists! Don't forget the deadline is this week!

Liberty PTA is pleased to announce an opportunity open to all of LIberty's students in this year's National PTA Reflections program. Reflections is a program supporting and recognizing the importance of arts in education based on a student-selected theme. This year's theme is SHOW YOUR VOICE and submissions can be made to Liberty's PTA in any of these three categories: Literature, Photography, and Visual Arts. DEADLINE for submissions is November 5th! Do you need to get rid of extra art supplies?  We need your help!

PTA is sponsoring a Fall Supply Drive for the two low-tech maker-spaces at Liberty.  We are currently accepting donations to stock these spaces. We have extended the drive through next Monday, November 7th, 2022.

Pack the Pantry: LMS Food & Clothing Drive

Would you like to help students and families in our community? Liberty Middle School is trying to restock its resource center with food and clothing items to help families in need.  If you are able to help us with this, please review the list below, and click the button to sign up.  Your assistance can make a huge difference in the lives of others. 

All donations may be dropped off at the Liberty Middle School main office on November 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, or 29th.

My name is Jinyoon Bae and I am a Korean Family Liaison at Liberty. I am excited and enthusiastic about the road ahead to build Korean family engagement at Liberty for this year again. Free and Reduced-Price Meals: 

Learn more about the criteria and process to apply for free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch.

If you have children eligible for the federal Free and Reduced-Price Meals program, they may also be eligible to participate in other Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) fee-based programs without paying a fee or by paying a reduced fee (e.g classes with a student fee).

The free and reduced-price meals application also includes a section where you provide consent to share information allowing FCPS staff (School Principal, school counselors and other FCPS program staff) to share information about your children's meal eligibility status.

Liberty Food and Clothing Pantry:

Many of you probably know that we have a food and clothing pantry at Liberty MS.  We use this area for numerous different needs for families and students.  If you would like to donate, the items needed are below.
