A few amazing highlights that happened this week...

fall fun

Fall fun continues in Kindergarten | These students had a great time in their math rotations! They especially loved the STEM center where they created spider webs & counted as they “stuck” spiders to their webs.

personal narratives

Two students pictured in Mrs. Belita's class celebrating and sharing their personal narrative stories!

Bonnie Brae is so excited to be able to host the Veteran's Day Breakfast and Read Aloud event on November 10th beginning at 8:30 am in the Cafeteria for Bonnie Brae families and staff who currently serve or have served in the armed forces.  Following, throughout the day, we encourage any service member able to visit one or more classrooms to either read a book or share about their experience. Native American Heritage Month

Native American Heritage Month

Native American Heritage Month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native Americans. It is also a time to raise a general awareness about the unique challenges they have faced both historically and in the present, and the ways in which tribal citizens have worked to conquer these challenges. Over $420 was donated by rounding up purchases and funded another 50 books for teachers and students. Mrs. Lewis sends her heart-felt gratitude to all of the volunteers, families, faculty, and especially our students for this record-breaking event.
