Would you like to be a part of the RCMS PTA Family? Members and volunteers are needed. The Carson PTA is sponsoring school events in support and gratitude for our educators and families and kicking off 2 major fundraisers to support our mission statement in support of our students.
As we plan for some exciting family events, we ask that you tell a friend and ask them to please join at https://rcmspta.memberhub.com/store. Our ultimate goal is to get 100% participation from our RCMS families. We are currently at 9.0% participation. Our last push is in November in the month of gratitude as we continue to grow our community in support of the school and our students.
We have received wonderful ideas with regard to membership and ask that they keep coming. Next General RCMS PTA meeting: November 17, 6:30pm-7:30pm in the RCMS Library or virtual. Join us in person and meet other families.
Treasurer needed for PTA. The PTA is in need of a Treasurer. The position does not require a CPA, just an enthusiastic person to help the PTA and RCMS community. If interested send an e-mail to rcmspta.pres@gmail.com.

THIS is our biggest and most important fundraiser which supports Technology and Instructional Projects throughout the school. Get Hungry and get Ready for Mrs. Field's desserts!!! Online ordering is highly encouraged to reduce time and accuracy errors on paper order forms.

Student-Parent Survey for Federal Impact Aid
The Impact Aid Program is a federal grant program designed to directly compensate local school districts that have been financially impacted by federal activities. The program's mission is to reimburse local school districts for local revenues lost due to the presence of federally owned and therefore tax-exempt property. Your support in identifying students with federal connections will ensure that FCPS can obtain its fair share of grant funds from this program.
Please be sure to complete and sign the survey and have your child return the original (fax or email copies may not be sent) to their Panther Time teacher no later than Friday, November 4th. If your child lost the form, they should come to the main office for a reprint. If you have questions, please contact Monique Berkeley- mtberkeley@fcps.edu.
