Greetings Saxons,

On this Halloween weekend, there are no tricks, only treats in Saxon Country. Our students continue to shine in competition on the courts, fields and stage. Cheers to our amazing kids!!!

Congratulations to our performing arts students. The fall season was kicked off by Saxon Stage with the theatre production The Man Who Came to Dinner. Orchestra, choir and band gave amazing performances during their respective concerts. Here’s a link to the orchestra concert for your listening pleasure.

The newly formed Langley Boys Volleyball club team is ranked #1 in their division with a 9-1 record. We wish them well in the playoffs!

As previously shared by Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid through email, a new division strategic plan will be created this school year. Students will have an opportunity to participate in its creation. Students will be asked to complete a survey providing feedback on their school experience. This feedback will be used to help inform

FCPS leadership as they work on planning for the future of the school system. Parents are invited to view the survey questions to get more information.

As we close our quarter 1, I thank each of you for your ongoing support of our school. It really does take a village to raise our children. It is truly a blessing to work alongside each of you as we partner to ensure the needs of each of our kids are met. I wish each of you a treat filled Halloween weekend!

Fondly,
