Let's Get 96 More PTA Members to Get Mr. Pietzman & Roadie to Dance
84 new members down, 96 members to go to reach 180 before October 22. If the school reaches 180 new members, Mr. Pietzman and Roadie will put on a dance for us at the Fall Block Party. If we reach 300 new members, Roadie will throw a pie in Mr. Pietzman's face after their dance. You can sign up here, on the PTA website.

New After School Program -
Zumba Kids to Start in November

Zumba Kids is a biweekly, after school program starting on November 4th and ending on December 16th. Registered students will meet in GBE's music room from 4:10PM-5:10PM. Cost to register is $71. Spots are limited. Register here! |
Twice Nice Drive
Donations & Volunteers Needed
Please consider donating any new or gently used clothing, toys, books, and hangers. Our aim is to sell the items at the Fall Block Party ("pay what you want" style) and we will give 100% of the proceeds to our school's counselors and Family Liaison to purchase items for GBE families in need. Donations can be dropped at the front of the school from 9AM-1PM this Saturday, October 15th. If you're unable to make it tomorrow, please email Lori (secretarty@gbepta.org) to coordinate another day/time for dropping off donations. All items must be cleaned/washed prior to drop off. Call for Toiletry Donations by GBE Student Council Association (SCA)
The SCA will be collecting full sized toiletries next to the PTA table at the Fall Block Party. Needed items include: toothpaste, soap, conditioner and shampoo.

We need volunteers, particularly one amazing person to be Roadie! If you want to sign up to be Roadie, donate small pastries for the cake walk, or sign up for another role at the Fall Block Party check out the two sign ups by clicking here. - Cake Walk with donations from Nothing Bundt Cakes, Wegmans, & GBE community;
- Cotton Candy by Dynamic Kicks Martial Arts;
- Photo booth for selfies and group shots by Gotta Go with Joe;
- Jump ropes by Burn Boot Camp;
- STEM table by Stemtree;
- Toothbrushes & oral hygiene table by Pumpkin Pediatric Dentistry;
- Appetizers by Silver Diner;
- Woodsy the Owl from the National Park Service;
- Roadie the GBE Roadrunner;
- Music by DJ Baard;
- Soccer by GBE Staff;
- STEAM table by GBE Staff;
- Bubbles,
- chalk/coloring; and
- hula hoops;
Confirmed Food Trucks include:
- Kona Ice (shaved ice; the PTA will get 20% kickback from sales);
- Falafel (halal gyros, falafel, shawarmas, BBQ, cheesesteaks & more);
- Killer Tomato Pizza; and
- Pa' Tacos El Papi (authentic Mexican tacos).
