6. Join the CHS PTSA (Class contest!)
Chantilly HS PTSA is here to support our school community! CHS is truly fortunate in having a diverse community of families, and we would like to see this represented in our PTSA membership. Join by October 31 and we will donate $200 to the ANGP budget of the Class of 202X board with the highest membership from students and parents! Seniors have surpassed the freshman class and are currently in the lead with 31% of the student & parent memberships.

We certainly appreciate volunteers and meeting participation but that is not required. Just your membership dollars will be a great help to providing support to our students and staff in the form of student scholarships, weekend snacks for students in need, staff appreciation and grants, and much more. Learn more (https://www.chantillyhsptsa.org/JoinUs/JoinUs.html) or click here to join and pay online (https://vapta-00014125.memberhub.com/store)!

9. Recent Student Successes
This is the next installment for the school year of what will become a weekly segment aimed at recognizing students for demonstrating recent improvement or achievement in academics, behavior or citizenship. At the end of each recognition, you will see the name of the nominating teacher or staff member. On a rotating basis, departments will nominate students. I plan to meet with recognized students each week to congratulate them in person.
