Dear Woodburn Families,

As we wrap up this week, I want to use this space to celebrate Sue Chappell, our administrative assistant.  Sue has served Woodburn for 22 years and will be retiring next Friday.

Sue's warmth, care and passion has connected our community over the last many years and will be dearly missed. She has been a steadfast member of our office, always greeting everyone with a smile and taking a genuine interest in all who visit.  Sue's knowledge, strong relationships and dedication have impacted our school in immeasurable ways.  Personally, I will miss using the phrase, "Let's ask Sue."  She just knows it all!

The partnership between a principal and administrative assistant is a special one. I feel very lucky to have had Sue as a mentor and confidant. She has always been by my side to celebrate successes and serve as a loyal cheerleader on the hard days. I will forever be grateful for the time I've had to work alongside her.

I hope you will join me in celebrating Sue. She will always have a home as a Wildcat and we wish her the best as she begins this new and exciting chapter. Happy retirement!

Together We Grow,

Katy

ESSER III Funding Supports Student Success: Your Voice Matters
