The Health Office Needs Volunteers
GBE's Health Office will be conducting vision and hearing screenings on September 27th (for 3rd grade and new students to the county) and October 4th (Kindergarten). The school health office has requested volunteers to help make the day a success. Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes prior to their volunteer time for a quick training. Moe's Taco Kit Fundraiser on September 29
Tired of figuring out what to make for dinner? We got you... on September 29th, that is. Orders must be placed by 6pm on September 27 and will be available for pick up at GBE from 5-530PM on September 29. 20% of the proceeds from each taco kit will go to the PTA!

Wanted - Lego Robotics and
Chess Club Coaches
We've gotten so much interest for Lego Robotics teams and Chess Club but we don't have enough volunteer coaches to meet the demand. Help us make this a reality for the kids! If interested, please email Patrick Foster, VP of Programming, at programs@gbepta.org.
Date Change - Spirit Day at
Dogfish Head Alehouse on Oct 12
Spirit Day Fundraiser at Dogfish Head Alehouse is now on Wednesday, October 12 (not October 25). Per the restaurant's policy, we are required to have volunteers physically represent GBE at the restaurant in the Greenbriar Plaza from 12-8PM in order for the PTA to receive a percentage of the proceeds. Start Saving Your Gently Used Clothes For Us!
We're planning on doing a clothing drive this fall and will be in need of any gently used clothing you and your family no longer wear. Our aim is to sell the clothing at extremely discounted prices (similar to "pay what you can") and we will give 100% of the proceeds to our school's counselors and Family Liaison to distribute as seen fit to fellow GBE families that are in need.
