Greetings Saxons,

It has been an amazing week in Saxon Country! Our homecoming football game against Oakton proved to be a nail biter with our team winning with a touchdown made in the final minute of the game.  Congratulations to our outstanding team! The excitement continued with the homecoming dance held on Saturday. Over 1300 tickets were sold for the big event. Students had a wonderful time; it was great to see them dressed to impressed for the occasion.

As you are aware, our Back to School Night event was held on Wednesday evening. What a delight to host this event in person for the first time since 2019. A tremendous thank you to our teachers and staff  for their efforts in making the night a success. If you didn’t have a chance to attend, please visit your student’s teacher’s Schoology site to view course videos.

With almost one month of the school year completed, our students are definitely in the groove of school. As we have found our rhythm, your assistance is needed. To minimize disruption of the school day, food deliveries aren’t allowed during school hours. Also, when students are ill during the school day, they should report to the health room instead of directly calling a parent. This will ensure proper care and provide accurate attendance reporting. Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support.

Fondly,
