Dear Dogwood Families,
To be the best community for our students we need to partner together towards the common goal of learning and growing together. This Thursday, we will host our Back To School Night. Our entire focus is how to partner together for our students to succeed. You will first attend a session with the administrators and then be released to the grade level teams. The grade level teams will show ways that you can support your child in Language Arts and Mathematics. We will have sessions in English and Spanish. We are looking forward to deepening our partnership with you.
If you want to support the school community further, we need a Title I Parent Advisory Committee (TPAC) representative. This is a parent that will attend meetings with FCPS Title I staff and the superintendent with the intent to better understand the needs of our school and to collaborate with the administration to do even better in supporting our students. There is more information below about both of these opportunities to partner with us.
With great appreciation,
Kate Beckner, Principal
