Whether you are a bus rider, walker or kiss and ride family, we are grateful for your support to ensure a safe and smooth arrival and dismissal process. With 640+ students all under the age of 9; the KPES community's combined adult patience and diligence makes a huge difference in keeping everyone safe.
As a gentle reminder, animals and family pets are not allowed on school property in accordance with FCPS School Board Regulation 2125: Exceptions are made for service animals to accommodate a person’s disability.

Please take a moment to log into ParentVue in your child’s SIS account to access the SR&R. Signatures are due by September 30, 2022. Please email your child's teacher for a hard copy of SR&R as needed.

Yearbook Cover Art Contest
Our KP/KG PTA is looking for student created artwork for the 2022-23 yearbook cover. The theme this year is Great Minds at Work. Please see the contest flier for more details. Deadline is Oct 18th. Turn it in to your child's teacher or email to yearbook4kp@gmail.com

First PTA Meeting of the School Year. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, September 8 at 7:00pm at Kings Glen (also available on zoom) for the first PTA meeting of the 2022-2023 school year! We will be voting on the PTA budget and look forward to discussing with the community everything we have planned. Zoom details are available on Facebook and on our google calendar.
PTA Ice Cream Social and Community Resource Fair. Please join us on Friday, September 16 at 6:30pm at Kings Glen! Enjoy a cold treat and meet with some of our local after school and community vendors while the kids play on the playground. We still have space available for any group that is interested in having a presence - email KPKGevents@gmail.com if you are interested!
Join the PTA. Thanks to everyone that has already joined the PTA for the 2022-2023 school year! We hope all families will consider joining this year. Being a PTA member has numerous benefits -- it's a great way to meet new friends and become more involved in your child's school and community. Join on our website! Keep in Touch with the PTA. Boosterthon Fun Run. The Boosterthon Fun Run is the PTA's largest fundraiser of each school year. We are excited to kick off this year's event with a digital kickoff on Wednesday, September 14 and the actual Fun Run on Friday, September 23. The PTA is looking forward to a fun event that supports our wonderful schools!
Volunteer with the PTA. Volunteering is certainly not a requirement of joining the PTA, but we are always looking for more help! Fill out the form on this page to let us know how you can help!
Fall after-school Activities. Registration will be opening up soon for the fall. Kings Park will offer chess, yoga, and coding, and Kings Glen will offer chess, Run Fit Kidz, and coding. Stay tuned for more details!
Care to Share. We have launched the Care to Share program for the new school year! Its success depends on volunteers - more information can be found here.
