Glen Forest Families,

Welcome back to the 22-23 school year!  Our staff has been working hard to prepare for your child’s return on Monday, August 22nd!  (Pre-K classes begin Monday, August 29th.) 

UPDATE: You will receive a welcome email from your child's teacher tomorrow, Wednesday.  Originally, it was scheduled for today, Tuesday.  Sorry for the delay!  

Important things to know:

• Breakfast and lunch will be free for all students.
• You should have received a letter in the mail from the transportation office notifying you if your child is either a walker or a bus rider.
• If your child will be walking to school, he/she will enter through Door 4 (see attached map).
• If your child will be Kiss N Ride, please review the attached map for the flow of traffic.

Critical Action Item!  Parents, please send your child to school with either a name tag or a paper in their backpack with the following information:

1. Your child’s full name
2. The name your child is called at school
3. Teacher’s Name (You will receive a welcome email tomorrow!)

This will help us get your child to the correct classroom once he/she arrives.

We hope to see you at Open House!  You may drop off school supplies at this time.  If you ordered kits through the PTO, they will be in the classroom.

Thursday, August 18th at 11:00-12:00 - Pre-K, Preschool, and PAC Classes

Friday, August 19th at 1:00-1:45 -  Kindergarten, First and Second Grades

Friday, August 19th at 2:00-2:45 - Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grades

You are welcome to walk your child to class on the first day!
