Summer Haycock Hello 7.29.22

Principal's Message

Dear Haycock Families,

It's amazing how quickly July has flown by!

As you will have seen from the superintendent's community message, FCPS is committed to ensuring that we will have a licensed educator in every classroom for the first day of school.

I want to assure you that at Haycock, we are almost fully staffed as we head into the school year. We have plans in place to address any remaining vacancies. These plans are student-centered and designed to meet the needs of all our students.

We look forward to welcoming your child to Haycock on the first day of school, August 22.

With appreciation for your partnership,

Dr. Liz Beaty

Principal

Mr. Machado

Meet our new building supervisor, Mr. Cesar Machado

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Machado.  He joined us as our new building supervisor in May. He is an experienced building supervisor, coming to us from Ft. Belvoir Elementary. He has worked tirelessly this summer to ensure that our building is spotless.  He and our custodial team are also beginning to work on our outside gardens and learning spaces, weeding, cutting back, and generally making Haycock it's most beautiful, inside and outside.

New Family/Student Play Date- August 13

The Haycock PTA invites you and your family to a New Family Playdate at our school's playground on 8/13 from 10-11:30am.
