If you have not already done so, please provide one of the following documents to Lorraine Fetterolf at  LMFetterolf@fcps.edu, our registrar as soon as possible and no later than August 1st, 2022:

  1. An updated immunization record showing that the student has received the Meningococcal vaccine.
  2. A note on a healthcare provider’s letterhead stating the date the Meningococcal vaccine was given.
  3. A healthcare provider’s written statement of a permanent or temporary medical exemption.
  4. A notarized Religious Exemption Form which is available online at this link.

Dual Enrollment Opportunity

Virtual Virginia (VVA) and Tidewater Community College (TCC) have partnered to offer the Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Pathways Program in 2022–2023. Students enrolled in the pilot program will work towards dual enrollment credit or a work-ready cybersecurity certification.

Enrollment & Admissions:

  • Will be available statewide to students in grades 11 and 12 in 2022–2023
  • A maximum of 200 students in the state may participate in the 2022–2023 program. Enrollment will be first come first served based on enrollment and the TCC application.
  • Enrollment will open this Friday, July 1, with an enrollment deadline of Friday, July 15, 2022. Participating students will enroll in both VVA and TCC.

Detailed information can be found here: https://virtualvirginia.org/pathways/de/

We understand the application timeline is short and program enrollment is small, and want to ensure that we offer the opportunity to FCPS students.
