 Join us tonight at 6 PM on the playground for the first Kindergarten Playdate for Lemon Road families!
Each summer the school and PTA partner together to arrange a few playdates to welcome new and returning families. These are casual gatherings to create opportunities for students to connect and play while the adults network and form relationships. The PTA typically ensures that there are some cool drinks and snacks to fuel the fun. Families are encouraged to join as many playdates as they can - we target our rising kindergarteners and new families, but veteran families help us welcome new lions to the pride!
While your lion is home for summer, don't forget to have them check off items from their summer activity board! Students bring completed boards back to school for a small celebration each fall.
We are looking for objects that show the history of our school for a display at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year. Objects could be old pictures, yearbooks, shirts, or other artifacts that show what our school was like in previous decades. If you are interested in loaning an object or know someone who might be interested, please contact Erin Dickey-Dunn at ekdickeydunn@fcps.edu.
