Thank You for your Feedback through the Family Engagement Survey!

Earlier this year, Brookfield asked families to respond to the Family Engagement Survey. We had 140 parents participate and we are so grateful for your willingness to provide helpful information about your experiences here at Brookfield. Here are some of highlights from the survey:

Most Positive Ranking Items (More than 90% of participants agreed or strongly agreed with the following statements):

  • This school welcomes families of different backgrounds and cultures.
  • My child and I feel safe at this school.
  • Information provided to me by the school is easy to understand.

Least Positive Ranking Items (More than 20% of participants disagreed or strongly disagreed with the following statements):

  • This school provides me with opportunities to connect with other families.
  • I received enough information about what I can do at home to help my child improve his or her learning.
  • I received enough information about what I can do at home to support my child with mental health and wellness.

Brookfield Elementary continues to develop plans to support family engagement and will work to improve in these areas listed as least positive. Please share your ideas or willingness to support this work by emailing Principal Mukai at ehmukai@fcps.edu. We are excited to continue to grow our connections with families in meaningful and collaborative ways!
