Franklin Families and Students,
As this school year comes to an end, we have so much to be grateful for in the Franklin Middle School community.
Despite so many challenges, our resilient students made tremendous strides academically, socially and emotionally this year. We are extremely proud of each and every one of them.
Our amazing teachers and staff members partnered with you to teach, support and love our kids. This was a school year we’ll never forget, and I’m so proud of the work we’ve done together.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful students with us this year and supporting our staff in so many ways. Through our school-home partnership, we made Franklin MS a place for learning and joy.

Report Cards
Final Report Cards can be viewed in SIS ParentVue the week of June 13. A copy of your child’s final report card will be mailed home the week of June 13.
Laptops and Chargers
All FCPSOn laptops and chargers are due back to Franklin unless previous arrangements have been made for a student to retain these items over the summer.
All ESY, Young Scholar, and IMAGINE students will keep their laptop and charger. They will return it after their program ends. Additionally, any student who wants to keep their laptop over the summer for educational purposes may do so. A parent or guardian will need to bring the laptop back before the beginning of the next school year to exchange it for one that has been updated and refreshed.
Franklin MS Jumpstart 2022
Your student's transition to middle school is very important to us! This year we will be offering an optional Jump Start program to our rising 7th grade students. Students will be able to register to attend one of the two day sessions.
- August 2 and 3 from 9:00AM - 12:00 PM
- August 4 and 5 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Students will have an opportunity to meet staff members (administrators, counselors, and some teachers), tour the building, get a couple middle school tips for success, hear about our after-school program, and more. Please click here for the registration link. Registration will open on Wednesday, June 1. If registering multiple children, a separate registration form must be completed for each student.
Registration Deadline: In order to be efficient in our staffing and assignments, we are requesting that all applications be returned by Friday, July 22. Students will be placed and accepted on a rolling admission basis. Please contact Courtney Mollé for further information.
Summer Office Hours and New Student Registration
The Franklin MS main office will be open this summer from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Summer office hours will begin on June 21. The office will be closed on Monday, June 20 and Monday, July 4. Please contact Jade Horne with any questions. For new student registration, please complete this form.
