Boosters Support Needed

Dear Lancer Parent:

Thanks for all who attended last week’s awards night. What a great way to end the school year and another year of Lancer sports.

I joined the Boosters Club several months ago, and I am continually impressed with the amount of support the Club provides to the athletic program and our student athletes. It’s still all new to me, but I know this success doesn’t happen without the support and involvement of our Lewis High School parents.

We Need Your Help!

Whether you raise your hand to serve as a Board member or as a volunteer for ad hoc projects, your contributions are vital to the Club’s future.  With nearly the entire Board rotating off at the end of this school year, the Club is at a crossroads. Now is the perfect time to get involved, share your ideas, and help shape the future of our Booster Club.

3 Great Reasons to Volunteer

  1. Support your student athlete
  2. Ensure our athletes have the equipment they need for success
  3. Get to know other parents and Lewis High School staff members

Recent Successes

Be a part of a winning team. Last year, the Booster Club successfully:

  • Funded new, state of the art equipment for the girls’ volleyball team.
  • Awarded two $1,000 scholarships to deserving student athletes preparing for college.
  • Generated more than $12,000 for future athletic needs through concessions and spiritwear sales and other fundraising.
  • Purchased an inflatable tunnel for games—sure to generate school spirit among our athletes for years to come.
  • Hosted Special Olympics soccer last fall.

Please…get involved today! Learn more about the Lewis Sports Booster Club here or email me at Partain.lewisboosters@gmail.com. We can put your skills and expertise to good use with a time commitment that works for your schedule.
