Lost and Found

Please have your students check the tables in the main hall, closets, playgrounds, recess bins, pod areas for items that have been left behind. Friday, June 10 all remaining clothing items will be washed, mended and donated.

Yearbook

Yearbooks were distributed to your child's classroom this week. Did you buy your yearbook yet? The PTO has a few extra copies for sale here.

 Laptop Return

All Crossfield students will need to return their laptop and charger at the end of this school year. If your child was issued a protective sleeve, you may keep that sleeve for use next year.

Laptops and chargers will be returned to school on Wednesday, June 8. Please help your student remember to bring their laptop and charger to school. Students can continue to use the devices during the remainder of the week in school, but they will leave their laptop and charger at school, in their homeroom class. Please store the sleeves at home in a safe place to use next year. We will NOT give new sleeves to students in Grades 4-6.

Any students who are leaving early for summer NEED to return their laptop and charger to their teacher before leaving.

STUDENT MEDICATIONS

The school health room is reminding parents and guardians that all medication stored in the health room must be picked up no later than the student dismissal time on the last day of school June 10, 2022.  Medication left in the health room after that time will be discarded.  It is school policy that medications must be picked up by the parent or guardian.  Medication cannot be sent home with your student.  However, with parent or guardian permission, a high school student may transport over-the-counter medications to and from the school health room.

Medication authorization forms for next school year may be obtained from the school or online at https://www.fcps.edu/resources/student-safety-and-wellness/school-health-services

 LATE ARRIVAL?

EARLY RELEASE?  ABSENCE?

Please use our preferred method of reporting for a late arrival, early release or absence by going to the Crossfield Website and clicking on the blue ATTENDANCE box.  This process automatically notifies everyone in the front office of the change.  The front office is responsible for accurate attendance reporting and upon receipt of this online submission they will forward the information to the teacher.  Following this procedure reduces your wait time when you come to pick up your child and the number of automated calls from the county. Thank you!
