June 8th: Sixth Grade vs. Staff Kickball Game, 2:30 p.m.
June 9th: 6th Grade Promotion
June 10th: Last Day of School, 2 hour early release
June 13th: Summer Office hours begin
August 22nd: School begins, First Day of School
Dear Fairhill Families:
Wow! It is hard to believe it’s the last week of school. We have had such an amazing year and all of the reflection we have done this week has reminded us of all of the truly wonderful moments our Fairhill Tigers have experienced this past year.
We hope you all enjoyed our Family Fun Day on Saturday. A huge thanks to the PTA for hosting such a great event. Our tight connection to the community is one of the things that makes Fairhill such a special place and it was great to see this back in action again.
We are busy hosting interviews for next year and as of now, Fairhill is completely staffed for the 2022-23 school year. Of course some things can change over the summer but read the list below of some of our beloved Fairhill Teachers and Staff that are moving onto new ventures.

The following teachers will not be returning to Fairhill next year for many reasons including enrollment changes, and/or changing FCPS Schools. We thank them for their years of service and wish them the best of luck in their journey. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger! We will send an update of new staff in the summer.

A Note from the Library
Thank you to all for your assistance in returning our library books! We are down to 200 overdue books. Please double check your email accounts for overdue notices as the latest round was sent home today after this morning’s check-ins. If you receive a notice and cannot find these books, please contact Leslie Howard for replacement options. lghoward@fcps.edu

Summer Office Hours
Fairhill ES Summer Office Hours will be in effect beginning June 13th. The Office will be open, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Fairhill Elementary offers the EduKit program as a convenient option for busy families to order school supplies for the 2022/2023 year. EduKits include the supplies approved by our school.
ORDER BY JUNE 30, 2022 FOR BEST PRICING AND FREE SHIPPING.
Extended ordering is available from July 01 - July 22 for an additional fee.

A Night in Morocco!
Looking for a night out, for the grownups and the children? Come on out for A Night in Morocco, featuring Fairhill’s Mr. Zakaria Raggad as featured chef! Learn about cooking Moroccan along with some Moroccan music, while the children have an evening of crafts and games. Saturday June 11, 6-8pm, at Bruen Chapel, 3035 Cedar Lane Fairfax.
