Fun Run - Friday, June 3rd

June 3rd will be the Mason Crest Fun Run held during your student’s Specials block. Half of each grade level will run while the other half will cheer from the sidelines, then they’ll switch. Parents are welcome to come watch and cheer during their child's assigned time. Students should wear sneakers and their house shirts that will be provided on the morning of the Fun Run. Make sure to bring your water bottles!

Fun Run Times:

9:15-10:15 – 5th grade

10:20-11:15 – 4th grade

11:15-11:30 Preschool

11:30 – 12:30 – 3rd grade

12:40 – 1:40 – 1st grade

1:45 – 2:35 – Kindergarten

2:35 – 2:50 Preschool

2:50 – 3:50 – 2nd grade


From Our Health Room

All medications that are currently being stored in our Health Room need to be picked up no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June10. If you have any questions, please contact our health aide, Ms. Judi, JEGiannini1@fcps.edu

Library Books Needed

Ms. Lingler, our school librarian, is still working to get all library books returned before our students leave for the summer. Please work with your child and Ms. Lingler to ensure there is a plan for any books that have not been returned.


Tutor.com--Summer Online Tutoring

FCPS students will continue to have unlimited access to 24/7, on-demand, online tutoring support services through Tutor.com during the summer of 2022.  Students are able to use Tutor.com during the summer to review and/or practice in subject areas of interest or need. Students may also choose to access other tools/services such as practice quizzes in a variety of subject areas, as well as self-paced study courses for SAT/ACT preparation.

Details about how students can access Tutor.com via archived courses in Schoology are provided in Summer Access at Tutor.com - Online Tutoring Services.  Students enrolled in summer Credit Recovery Academy, Online Campus, Online Economics & Personal Finance, and TJHSST summer courses will be able to access Tutor.com via their active summer course in Schoology.

Additional resources schools may use to communicate Tutor.com summer access to students/families are provided in the Tutor.com - Online Tutoring Services Employee Hub Site to include a Summer Access Flyer that could be shared with students/families.


Annandale Summer Sports Camps

Looking for fun activities for your child this summer? Annandale High School is offering various summer sports camps for rising 2nd graders through rising 9th graders led by Annandale coaches. 

Camps run each day from 8:30am to 3:00pm. The cost of the five-day camps is only $125 (Olympics Camp is 4 days for $100). Credit cards or checks are accepted. Checks should be made out to “Annandale Athletic Boosters”. Payment is due on the first day of camp. Campers can bring their lunch or purchase lunch at camp, and they should bring a snack and a water bottle each day.

Camp Information

Multi-Sport Camp - June 13-17: Have fun playing a variety of sports including basketball, kickball, volleyball, soccer, and touch football. This camp includes fun contests, competitions and lots of prizes!

Basketball Camp - June 20-24: Run by Annandale’s Boys Varsity Basketball coach, Andrew Hypnar, this camp is open to both boys and girls and will focus on basketball fundamentals, skill development and game play.  

Olympics Camp - June 27-30 (4-day camp at Holmes Middle School): This exciting camp features team activities including soccer, volleyball, basketball, touch football, relay races. In addition, individual campers will get a chance to demonstrate their talent through various skill competitions. 

Girls Multi-Sport Camp (Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Basketball) - July 11-15: This camp, led by various Annandale coaches, will provide campers the opportunity to learn and develop skills in three different sports: field hockey, lacrosse, and basketball. 

Girls Basketball - July 18-22: Run by Annandale’s Girls Varsity Basketball coach, Maddy DeCou, this camp will focus on the fundamentals, skill development and game play.
