We are a family.
We are capable.
We are caring.
We all belong!
Bren Mar Park students celebrated former students (and members of our own staff) as 2022 graduates during this year's Grad Walk!
Thanks for a great year of strings! After the concert, we have continued to play and learn notes on all 4 of our strings. We are also preparing for next year by registering all 3rd and 4th graders for their music class options for next year.
In 5th grade, students have the opportunity to participate in band, strings, and chorus. These programs are held during the school day and provide free weekly classes. Please talk about these programs with your child and submit this form by Tuesday, June 7th, 2022. We would like for ALL families to respond regardless of whether you plan to sign up for these classes so that we can generate your child’s schedule for the 2022-2023 school year.
The school health room reminds parents/guardians that all medication must be picked up by the last day of school, no later than the time the children are dismissed:
June 10, 2022 at 2pm
Medication left in the school health room after this time will be discarded. It is against school policy to leave medicine in the health room during the summer. It is a school policy that medication is to be picked up by the parent or guardian. Medication cannot be sent home with the child.
If you have any questions, please call the school office at 703-914-7200 or the school health room at 703-914-7210.

For the past two years, the federal government has provided no-cost meals to all public school students without the need to complete the annual Free and Reduced-Price Meal application. The extension of the no-cost meals benefit to all students is expected to expire at the end of this school year, meaning families must submit an application and be approved to be eligible for free and reduced price meals for the 2022-23 school year.
Eligible families are encouraged to submit the Free and Reduced-Price Meal application before the first day of the 2022-23 school year. The online application will be available later this summer and accessible via the FCPS homepage.
Students approved for Free and Reduced-Price Meals may qualify for additional benefits such as waived or reduced fees for instruments, uniforms, field trips, FCPS class fees, and Parktakes classes.
Families are welcome to share information about their child(ren) in preparation for classroom placement considerations for next school year. Please know that we cannot accept placement requests by teacher name, rather characteristics of a teacher that may be a best fit. We will take this information into consideration as class placements are determined. We cannot guarantee a teacher request.
Yearbooks are now available for purchase in the front office. The price is $15 per yearbook. CASH ONLY will be accepted. We have limited quantities so get yours while supplies last.
BMP International Night was a huge success! Thanks to all of the families who joined us.
