HOW TO: Athletic & Activity Registration

Physical Form

Robinson Rams Twitter | Sports Leadership Twitter | Instagram: @robosportslead

In order to try out for all Fall teams your athlete will need to have the following:

1. Current Physical (Information is below)

2. Registered on the Athletic & Activity Registration for the 2022-2023 school year (Information is below)

Physical Information:

You must submit a valid VHSL Pre-participation Exam Form (physical) directly to the school prior to your student’s participation (please email the scanned physical to both Jeff Perry and Deb Cassidy our athletic trainers, at jgperry@fcps.edu and dkcassidy@fcps.edu .) If you email a scanned copy to the athletic trainers, you do not need to drop off a hard copy at Robinson. If you prefer, you may drop off a hard copy of your athlete’s physical form to the Activities office. Please note that the physical must be dated AFTER May 1, 2022. If you have already turned in a Physical for the 2022-2023 school year you do not need to turn it in again.  *Please make sure that the insurance information is included, and all parent/guardian/students signatures are on the form!*

Athletic and Activity Registration:

Last school year FCPS activities and athletic programs transitioned to a new registration system:  https://robinson-ar.rschooltoday.com/

While registering does not guarantee a spot on the team, this information will help to ensure your student is ready to go on the first day of tryouts. Students can be registered for one or more activities throughout the year and families can sign in as needed to update information.

If your student athlete already has an account from last year, you must log on and update your athlete’s information!

If you are having issues with the registration system please email Amanda Livingston at allivingston@fcps.edu.

Physical Night with the Athletic Trainers

Registration for Sports Physicals at Robinson is currently filled and CLOSED.

We are always looking for new volunteers from the Robinson parent and medical community (MD, DO, PA, NP, PT, or EMT) to assist us with this event. We can accommodate more students with more volunteers. If you are interested in helping out for an hour or two, or need more information contact jgperry@fcps.edu or click on the volunteer registration link to sign up: Click Here to Volunteer!

HIPS

The Hidden in Plain Sight (HIPS) program is an IN-PERSON interactive program for adults to be educated about the signs of risky behavior in teens and young adults. It touches on drug and alcohol use, mental health concerns, eating disorders, risky sexual behaviors and more.

This is a hands-on learning adventure for PARENTS AND GUARDIANS ONLY! We guide you through a presentation that opens your eyes to what is right in front of you. This program begins with a setup of a teenager’s bedroom which includes close to 100 “red flags” that indicate risky behavior. Parents are encouraged to touch everything and identify our red flags. Times have changed since we were teenagers… do you think you can find them?

Free School Physicals

Together with Inova Cares Clinic, Partnership for Healthier Communities is scheduling free school physicals for students who are uninsured or have Virginia Medicaid. This will take place at Inova Cares Clinic for Children in Falls Church and Inova Cares Clinic for Families in Herndon and Sterling, VA. Partnership for Healthier Communities will be on-site to screen and enroll qualifying families in Medicaid.
